Banana Honey Ice Cream

Honey and sour cream each contribute their distinctive tastes to make a well-balanced banana ice cream. Making ice cream at home can be intimidating and a little bit of work. But the results are always worth the effort. While this recipe could be adapted to use other flavors, try it first with the banana and honey for a treat you won’t want to miss!

Popovers

This is my own variation on the classic popover recipe, with sugar and cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla added for flavor. You can stay the savory route, but you’re feeling adventurous, try this version! If you don’t have whole nutmeg to freshly grate, use the already grated stuff! You won’t want to miss out on it’s flavor impact.

Buttermilk Banana Bread

If you’re like me, I’m sure you love the smell and taste of banana bread! It’s one of my favorite desserts when I go out to restaurants, and now with this recipe you’ll be able to bake delicious banana bread in the comfort of your own home. The older the banana, the more flavor your bread will end up with. So don’t be afraid to use those very brown bananas that you’re ready to toss!
