  • pinch of pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cooked ham, diced
  • 3 scallions, thinly slice
