Mediterranean Style Pork Loins

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds boneless pork loin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1-2 cups couscous, be sure to follow package directions for preparation

DIRECTIONS

STEP ONE:

In a measuring cup you’ll want to combine the broth, oil and all of the spices.

STEP TWO:

Take the pork loins and cut small slits into the meat. You’ll then want to place the pork in a slow cooker and pour the broth and the mixture of spices over the pork. The mixture will seep into the slits to provide wondrous flavor. Cook for 8 hours until very tender.

STEP THREE:

Take the pork out of the slow cooker and break/shred into pieces. You can then place the shredded pieces back into the slow cooker and mix it with the juices in the cooker. You can then server over couscous.
