Three Cheese Pasta Bake
Ingredients
- 1 package penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- pinch of grounded nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour; cook, whisking constantly for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and half and half; cook, whisking constantly until thicken.
- Stir in all 3 cheese, salt pepper and ground nutmeg until smooth. Stir together pasta and cheese mixture. Pour it into a lightly greased baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
