Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Cook ziti pasta al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste; simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg.
Place half of the cooked ziti into the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the sausage mixture and top with half of the cheese mixture.
Repeat layering with the remaining ziti, sausage, and cheese mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
