Broccoli pizza
Ingredients

- 1 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cups flour

- 2 cups broccoli
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 red onion - thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove - finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano - chopped
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
To make the pizza dough, combine the warm water, yeast, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Let stand for about 10 minutes, or until bubbly, Stir in the olive oil, then gradually mix in the flour with a mixer or food processor until the dough comes together in a ball. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead, until firm. Wash the mixing bowl, then spray with olive oil. Put the dough in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Spray a large baking sheet with olive oil. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8 minutes. Put the broccoli in a sauce pan and boil until just cook, about 5-10 minutes. Drain and chop the broccoli into small pieces.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the oregano. Spread the onion mixture evenly onto the part-baked pizza crust and top it with the broccoli, then sprinkle with the cheese. Bake for about 10 minutes. Slice and serve immediately
